Our school organised a CPR awareness programme to introduce students to this vital life-saving skill.
Trained instructors explained what CPR is and how it helps keep blood and oxygen flowing during a cardiac emergency.
Students learnt the simple steps of hands-only CPR – calling for help and giving firm, fast chest compressions.
The session stressed that early CPR can double or even triple a person’s chances of survival until medical help arrives.
Demonstrations using manikins helped learners clearly understand the correct hand position, depth and rhythm.
Interactive questioning and practice allowed students to clarify doubts and build confidence in performing CPR.
Instructors also highlighted common do’s and don’ts to ensure CPR is done safely and effectively.
Teachers encouraged every child to share this knowledge with family members at home, spreading awareness further.
The programme showed that even young people can play a crucial role in emergencies by knowing basic CPR.
Through this initiative, our school reaffirmed its commitment to health education and empowering students with essential life skills.
