Yoga Day​

International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 21st in our school with enthusiasm by students, teachers, and staff. ​ The event started with an introduction to yoga's benefits for physical and mental health. ​ Warm-up exercises preceded demonstrations of standing asanas like Tadasana and Vrikshasana. ​ Sitting postures such as Padmasana, Bhujangasana, and Surya Namaskar were practiced by all participants. ​ Pranayama breathing techniques and short meditation sessions enhanced focus and relaxation. ​ Poster-making, slogan writing, and a yoga quiz engaged students creatively on the theme "Yoga for Health". ​ Teachers explained yoga's role in daily life, promoting balanced lifestyle and stress reduction. ​ The principal's speech motivated regular practice for fitness and concentration. ​ A pledge was taken by everyone to incorporate yoga into routines. ​ The session fostered mindfulness, unity, and a commitment to holistic well-being in the school community.
